School of Massage Arts
SOMA
is dedicated to one goal: Making the world a better place through
sharing and teaching healing touch. We have no hidden agenda,
political or otherwise, and pledge that we will continue to share
our gifts and our knowledge to the very best of our ability.
We acknowledge the divine nature of human life, the right of
each person to dignity and respect and to live up to their full
potential. We are dedicated to our own personal growth so that
we can continually give our best to our students and clients.
Additionally, we are committed to expanding and improving our
program, facility, staff, and curriculum in order to fulfill
our mission.
School
Of Massage Arts was founded in 1996 with a specific vision and goal.
Our vision was and is to have a learning environment for massage
and bodywork based on the highest ethical and moral standards and
where each student is treated with respect and caring regardless
of their race, gender or spiritual beliefs. We believe that the
most effective healing comes through those who have a better understanding
of themselves. Therefore we emphasize personal development and growth
on a holistic level as well as theory and technical skills.
During your
training at SOMA, you can expect to work hard, laugh a lot, cry
a little, feel a little challenged when we encourage you to "push
your envelope" and most of all, feel a great sense of accomplishment
and fulfillment as you experience true holistic growth and learn
to help others do the same.
We are:
